Merchant level name-value pairs are merchant-specific configuration parameters. These name value pairs are often used to keep the payment provider access details for example the secret keys used to access the merchant account. In some cases, secret keys are stored per division. Other rules, define the division to be used for the specific transaction based on different parameters such as currency. You could also define the validation amounts per country per currency, using name value pairs. Merchant level Name Value pairs can also be used to store temporary info such as whether Push 2 platform is configured for the merchant. Name Value Pairs can be added as part of the Merchant Configuration in Portal 1.0 When relevant for a specific configuration chapter, the relevant name value pairs will be included.
