Enable Subscribers to Purchase a Subscription in Installments

You can enable your subscribers to purchase Subscriptions through your online storefront and sign up for installment payments.

Basic Scenario

Subscriber purchases a Subscription using a valid Payment Method and makes payments on an installment basis.

Before you begin

• Set up an account with your payment processor of choice.
• Ensure Vindicia has been authorized as a presenter on the payment processor account.
• Determine what installment payments to offer (for example, 2 payments of $x.xx, 3 payments of$y.yy, and so on).

Results

• A proper Subscription with Account and Payment Method objects are created in Subscribe.
• The Initial Transaction is generated if applicable, including any applicable taxation.
• Future billings are correctly predicted.
• The Account has been granted appropriate Entitlements.
