Subscribe Features
This release includes the following new Subscribe features:Campaigns - Generating Incremental Coupon Codes On Demand
Coupon campaigns allow you to create a specific number of coupon codes that are typically offered directly to customers. Starting from this release, Subscribe Rest API allows additional codes to be generated, on demand, when the coupon campaign is already active. This enhancement allows merchants to broaden the campaign when it has been found to be successful or for subscription gifting. A prerequisite to using incremental codes is that the campaign’s original coupon codes were previously generated. Refer to Subscribe REST API Guide for more details. (VIN-8493)REST API Enhancement - Compress Response in GZIP Format when Requested by Merchant
From this release, Subscribe REST API honors merchants’ header compression requests (Accept-Encoding) for gzip compression. The response’s header indicatecontent-encoding:gzip and the response body is accordingly compressed in gzip compression format. Please prepare to decompress the incoming response. If compression is not required, merchants should not send the header compression requests.

Subscribe Merchant Portal 2.0 Filter and search capabilities for the Accounts and Subscriptions pages have been enhanced, similarly to the already available Transaction page, to include key fields for searching. No results are displayed by default rather the Portal users must filter to see the relevant results. At least one of the key fields must be filled in order to search. Key fields are indicated in the UI with a blue background. (PORT-1883)Subscribe Merchant Portal 2.0 - Reports 2.0 Platform Enhancements
Scheduling Reports with Reports 2.0 From this release, Subscribe Merchant Portal 2.0 uses Vindicia’s new Data platform - Reports 2.0 to schedule recurring reports. New schedules created from this release onwards, for the impacted reports listed below, use Reports 2.0 data platform. Existing schedules (of Reports 1.0) were not migrated to enable merchants to test this feature. Starting July 2021, with Reports 1.0 deprecation (as announced above), Vindicia will stop supporting schedules that existed for Report 1.0. For seamless reporting continuity, Vindicia recommends scheduling the required reports using the Reports 2.0 functionality. They have been enhanced to include a Time Zone field that allows selection of a time zone for data range selection and data display. Bug Fixes
Known Issues
This release includes the following known issues:- Portal 2.0 - If a Portal session times out when multiple browser tabs are open, only one tab refreshes with the new log in. Other open tabs do not automatically refresh and their menu items are not displayed. While this issue is being addressed, manual refresh of the open tabs is required as a workaround.
- Large data reports fail to display in Reports 2.0. There is a timeout issue when generating and fetching large reports. As a temporary workaround, please schedule large sized reports rather than running them on demand and set SFTP as the delivery method.
