The Payment Method object represents an “on-file” payment instrument, such as credit card, PayPal, ECP, direct debit. Payment Methods are the means by which a customer pays for purchases or in other words the account covers its transactions. The API allows you to create, fetch, and update Payment Methods. You can retrieve individual Payment Methods, as well as a list of all.
