GiftCard object encapsulates gift card details such as the card’s unique identification number (pin) and the processor that Subscribe should contact for redemption of the gift card. When you make the API call to redeem a gift card, Subscribe also assigns a unique VID to the corresponding GiftCard object, and stores the latest status of the gift card (such as whether it was redeemed or is still pending) in the status attribute of the GiftCard object.
