# What's Next in Vindicia Platform and Payment Integrations

This topic outlines the roadmap features planned for the next two quarters. It is shared to provide our merchants visibility to the roadmap and time to prepare for desired features and integrations.

## Security Improvements

The following Security Improvements are planned:

* **Vindicia Identity Provider app and Merchant User Management**

After recently introducing the new Vindicia IDP and the ability to independently manage users, merchants will have the ability to add users and define their roles as soon as September 2023.

Merchants may select to use Vindicia's provided IdP for authentication or alternatively use any OIDC-based Identity Providers integrated with Vindicia for that purpose such as Okta and Azure.

* **Data Hashing and Security Improvements**

As part of Vindicia's vigilant security approach, Vindicia will continue to keep its system up-to-date with all security measures, as prescribed by PCI security mandates.

## Payments Integration

Vindicia is integrated with most payment providers in the market. However, new and modern platforms are added to the payment ecosystem every day. Vindicia is working to keep its platform up to date with the market, and adding new platforms, based on our customers requests. If you are interested in requesting a new payment provider integration, speak with your Vindicia Client Technical Support representative.

Upcoming Payment Integrations:

* **Bank of America Integration**- As part of our strategic partnership with the world's major payment providers, we will achieve a milestone integration with Bank of America, providing merchants working with Bank of America a quick onboarding and turnaround for their subscription billing needs. The integration will support all basic functionality such as One time Payments and Recurring Payments, card-on-file support, and fraud check.
* **Braintree Integration - Paypal** - In the coming releases, Vindicia will enhance its Braintree integration to support a modern and newer integration for the Paypal e-wallet as a payment method. This roadmap feature allows merchants to offer popular e-wallet options such as Paypal and previously supported Venmo to their consumers for subscription purchases via Braintree payment provider.

## Maximize Your Capture Rates

Vindicia is continuously investing in perfecting the platform to get the best results with minimal retries. Two initiatives will soon be released to further support this:

* **Acting on Card Network Codes and Merchant Advice Code** - In coming releases, Vindicia will start utilizing MAC and Card Network Codes as part of payment capturing. This will be implemented gradually per payment providers. With Vindicia's guidance, merchants will be able to configure the best response codes and retry policy to ensure the best possible capture rate. The first payment providers implemented are: Chase Paymentech, SmartPay, Cybersource, Adyen, and Vantiv (Litle Platform).
* **Real-Time Account Updater for Chase** - Vindicia utilizes account updater for several providers With this new enhancement, cards will be updated immediately, resulting in quicker captures.
