## Pre-Condition

Push entitlements are configured in Subscribe to point to an endpoint url that consumes an HTTPS post from the Subscribe servers. Push Notifications—also referred to as `callbacks`, `webhooks` or `event-driven messaging`—allow your system to receive and act upon Subscribe events as they occur, without the need to pull data using the Subscribe API. You can subscribe, any number of times, to any number of Event Classes, or individual Events, and receive, when those events occur, Push Notifications as HTTPS POST requests with a JSON message of the full related object.

For details on setting up Push notifications, setting up a listener and subscribing to Push classes and events, see [Push Notifications](https://docs.vindicia.com/bundle/SOAP-Programming-guide/page/topics/ProgGuide_PushNotifications.html) in the Subscribe Programming Guide.

## Post-Condition

Merchant has implemented an endpoint that is capable of receiving HTTPS posts from Subscribe servers.

Merchant authorization system consumes the payload which contains the push entitlement notification message.
