# Enable Subscribers to Redeem Coupons for Gift Subscriptions

You can enable your subscribers to redeem a Coupon for a gift Subscription through your online storefront. To enable this functionality, you must use the Subscribe APIs.

* **Use Case Number:** 2-2-18
* **Completed By:** Software Developer
* **Estimated Completion Time:**\<5 days

## Basic Scenario

Subscriber redeems a Coupon for a Subscription.

## Pre-Condition

* The subscriber has a valid credit card or PayPal account.
* You have set up an account with your payment processor of choice and Vindicia has been authorized as a presenter on that account.

## Post-Condition

* A proper Subscription with Account and Payment Method objects is created in Subscribe.
* The initial Transaction is generated if applicable, including any applicable taxation.
* Future billings are correctly predicted.
* The Account has been granted appropriate Entitlements.
* The Coupon has been marked as redeemed in Subscribe.
