# Enable Subscribers to Purchase a Subscription in Installments

You can enable your subscribers to purchase Subscriptions through your online storefront and sign up for installment payments.

* **Use Case Number:** 2-2-16
* **Completed By:** Business Manager
* **Estimated Completion Time:** \<3 days

## Basic Scenario

Subscriber purchases a Subscription using a valid Payment Method and makes payments on an installment basis.

## Before you begin

* Set up an account with your payment processor of choice.
* Ensure Vindicia has been authorized as a presenter on the payment processor account.
* Determine what installment payments to offer (for example, 2 payments of $x.xx, 3 payments of $y.yy, and so on).

## Results

* A proper Subscription with Account and Payment Method objects are created in Subscribe.
* The Initial Transaction is generated if applicable, including any applicable taxation.
* Future billings are correctly predicted.
* The Account has been granted appropriate Entitlements.
