# Account Updater Configuration

For details about Account Updater, see [Account Updater Explained](https://docs.vindicia.com/bundle/howTo/page/topics/r_accountUpdaterExplained.html) and [Everything you need to know topic in wiki](https://wiki.corp.aws.vindicia.com/x/AoLlB).

The following table shows the Merchant options relevant for Account Updater:

| Field | Required/Optional | Description | Valid values |
| - | - | - | - |
| cc\_noauto\_update | | if set to 0 or null - Account updater for this specific merchant is set to true in their configuration with the processor. if set to 1 - it indicates that the merchant does not have this option set on. Vindicia will utilize a simpler version of cards updates, for those merchants. This option does not refer to AMEX cards that are defined using a different setting . | 1 - off |
| au\_decline\_response\_autobill | | The values in this field will indicate Subscribe behavior in case of a reject response - meaning the card is not valid and we cannot retry on this card. | The possible values are : - nothing or null - cancel\_autobill - in case of an inactive card, cancel the autobill - cancel\_autoill\_pm\_inactive - in case of inactive card - cancel the autobill and set the card as inactive If set to nothing, the merchant can catch the updates and ask the customer for a valid credit card |
| au\_select\_days | | The number of days to wait until another call for updates is made for Visa & Mastercard | Enter a number. Recommended 14 |
| au\_export\_certificate\_id | Optional | For Retain, when used, we'll use the merchant's encryption key to encrypt credit cards instead of our own. To use this, you need to set this to the database's id for the "certificate" object that you put into the database | |
