# Account Methods Mapping

The following table contains Account SOAP methods and the equivalent REST operations:

| `addChildren` | `POST /accounts/<account>/children` |   |
| `decrementTokens` | `POST /accounts/<account>/token_balance_changes` | For REST, use minus (-) amount value to decrement within body |
| `extendEntitlementByInterval` |   | Currently not on the roadmap |
| `extendEntitlementToDate` |   | Currently not on the roadmap |
| `fetchAllCreditHistory` |   | Currently not on the roadmap |
| `fetchByEmail` | `GET /accounts?email=<email>` |   |
| `fetchByExernalId` | `GET /accounts/<account>` | use externalid to fetch the account. |
| `fetchByMerchantAccountId` | `GET /accounts/<account>` |   |
| `fetchByPaymentMethod` | `GET /accounts?payment_method=<payment_method_id>` |   |
| `fetchByVid` | `GET /accounts/<account>` | use vid to fetch the account. |
| `fetchByWebSessionVid` | N/A | Will not be implemented. See the [SOAP Operations not Implemented in REST](SOAPOperationsNotImplementedInREST) topic. |
| `fetchCreatedSince` | `GET /accounts?created_before=<$datetime>` |   |
