# Stripe Account Configuration

To allow Vindicia to present payments on your behalf through Stripe, you must connect your Stripe merchant account with Vindicia's Stripe account. Complete the following steps to connect to Vindicia's Stripe account.

1. In your Stripe account, select either the Staging or Production environment:

   * **Production**: [https://dashboard.stripe.com/oauth/authorize?response\_type=code\&client\_id=ca\_DqwU20KMiUuPYAGjq4zxaTPUk7dDohXq\&scope=read\_write](https://dashboard.stripe.com/oauth/authorize?response_type=code\&client_id=ca_DqwU20KMiUuPYAGjq4zxaTPUk7dDohXq\&scope=read_write)

2. Enter your email address. If you already have a Stripe account, use the email address associate with the account.

3. Click **Next**.

4. Enter a password and click **Next**.

5. Select and set up a Multi-Factor Authentication method.

6. Write down and store the emergency backup code provided and click **Next**.

7. If you have an existing account with Stripe, select the appropriate account and click **Connect**.

8. If you do not have an existing account with Stripe, click **Create a New Account** and follow the flow to create an account.

9. Once you create your account, click **Connect**.

Your Stripe account is now connected with Vindicia. Vindicia can now present payments on your behalf through Stripe.
