# Subscribe for Salesforce

Subscribe for Salesforce applications are Salesforce native applications, built on the force.com platform, that allow you to bring key Subscribe billing data into your Salesforce.com organization, integrating subscription billing data with the rest of your merchant ecosystem. Subscribe supports both Classic and Lightening platforms providing the best user experience available in each.

Subscribe for Salesforce increases your return on investment - By integrating Subscribe with Salesforce, you view billing and other customer account information in one location - Salesforce. You can also easily take advantage of the familiar reporting and analysis tools within Salesforce to building insight into customer account information.

Subscribe for Salesforce offers two levels of functionality:

* **Subscribe for Salesforce Basic**: The basic application enhances the power of Salesforce as a reporting tool by letting you access Subscribe data through Salesforce. You can then easily build customized reports based on that data, and incorporate Subscribe data into other Salesforce-based apps, processes, and workflows. Your customer service team can view and update customer account information through Salesforce while also viewing transactions and subscriptions.
* **Subscribe for Salesforce Premium**: You can extend the link between Subscribe and Salesforce with Subscribe for Salesforce Premium. In addition to the basic offering, Premium lets you take advantage of the customer service and sales features of Subscribe through the Salesforce environment. It lets you manage the whole quote-to-cash process from one location. Generate quotes, create subscriptions, and issue credits and refunds within Salesforce using Subscribe data. All payment information resides within Subscribe, so you maintain full PCI compliance. The Data synchronizes automatically without any action required from you.

These are available through the Salesforce AppExchange, with the basic option free to all Subscribe and Salesforce users. You can use these applications to import Subscribe Account, Product, Subscription, and Transaction data into Salesforce.com, and have that data continuously updated at your desired frequency.
