# Subscribe Product Catalog

The product, in Vindicia Subscribe (as in reality) is your offering whether a tangible item or a service available online. Subscribe Product Catalog lets you define different aspects of your offering allowing you to mix and match the product availability, pricing, and access for improved customer acquisition rates. Using Subscribe Product Catalog enables you to creatively tailor the offering for different audiences and their needs. Once the Product Catalog is defined, you can bundle the offering as part of a subscription plan. Using Subscribe's user-friendly Merchant Portal, you can manage all these aspects of your product catalog without IT involvement.

The product catalog includes:

* [Product](products) offering definitions that can later be sold as recurring subscription plans or purchases
* [Rates](ratePlans) and consumption tiers for "pay as you go" services
* [Billing Plans](billingPlans) allowing to schedule when, where, and how often to offer the product
* [Discount and Coupon campaigns](campaignsPromotionsDiscounts) to fine-tune pricing
* [Product entitlement](entitlements) privileges to provide customers access to the product
* [Virtual currency](tokensVirtualCurrency) offering such as membership or loyalty points

Subscribe Product Catalog enables dynamic product pricing across multiple channels, and gives you the ability to easily define pricing at the product and billing plan levels. You can even mix business models, with support for subscriptions, one-time purchases, and "pay as you go" usage-based pricing.

When planning the work process of your product catalog, consider whether you plan to reuse configurations for multiple products. A reusable hierarchy will allow you to support multiple offering without having to build supporting elements for each one. For example, reuse the billing plan schedules across different products by keeping them generic and not including price points.
