# Vindicia Internal Notes for Release 27.0.4

This release includes the following internal notes:

## **Applying a Coupon Code to an Existing Subscription**

When applying a coupon code to an existing subscription, certain scenarios are failing.

(VIN-7109)

## **Allow for Catalina Redirect**

The legacy Portal has enhanced it's integration with the Catalina Data Service to better handle downloading large reports. This was achieved by utilizing a redirect on the Catalian side and pulling the Report from a secure AWS S3 bucket.

(VIN-6576)

## **Cloud Transition Preparations - Enable Decryption Server to Retrieve Private Key Stored on AWS KMS Service**

Private keys used by the subscribe/retain decryption servers will be located in Amazon's KMS service. This eliminates the need to store private keys in plain text on disk in the decryption servers. However, compatibility must be maintained with the existing database cryptogram's compatibility to decrypt with existing public/private key pairs.

(VIN-5402)

## **Cybersource DME - Implementation Guide**

As mentioned above, we can start and propose the CyberSource DME to merchants. This is not a white label solution.

The Implementation Guide can be found on the CB-36411 ticket, and here some high level information:

* CyberSource Decision Manager is a comprehensive fraud assessment tool. Given a full set of input parameters, including card details, user information, IP address, and purchase information (sku, price, etc), it will determine if this transaction is considered safe (returns ACCEPT), unsafe (returns REJECT), or needs further review (returns REVIEW). In the initial implementation, a status of REVIEW will be mapped to either ACCEPT or REJECT, based on the setting of a merchant config name value pair. The name will be “CyberSource:DME\_REVIEW” and the value must be either “ACCEPT” or “REJECT”. Merchants who want to support a manual review process should separate authorization from capture, and plan to manually initiate the capture or a transaction cancel, based on the results of the manual review. CashBox has no built-in support for a decision of REVIEW for autobill.update or transaction.authCapture.
* Merchant must sign up for the service with CyberSource. This is not a no-cost white label option of Vindicia.
* Merchant can opt to include machine fingerprint details, which CyberSource uses in conjunction with ThreatMetrix to identify the client computer. The landing pages on the merchant site need to be coded with ThreatMetrix jsp that will initiate the fingerprint, and then when the transaction is sent to CyberSource, the fingerprint ID is sent with the rest of the data.
