### **Current Liability and IBRR reports improved**

The Current Liability and the Invoice Based Revenue Recognition reports have been improved to reflect liabilities and correct amounts when a product or billing plan is changed in the middle of the billing period.

A new column (Credit Forwarded) has been added to the Current Liability report to display the amount of the current service period. This is used to offset the charge for the new service period in case of mid cycle modification. This is either the full next charge in case the customer is getting a refund, or the non-used part of the current service period in the case of an additional charge required.

Calculations for the following columns have changed to include credit forwarded:

* Payments Received
* Total Credits
* Refund Tax Amount (renamed to Sales Tax Credited)

The following new columns have been added to the Invoice Based Revenue Recognition report:

* Credit forwarded (as calculated in the Liability report)
* Refund date
* Total tax
* Sales tax credited
* Pre-tax total

## Bug Fixes

The following bugs were fixed in this release.

| Ticket Number | Summary | Description |
| - | - | - |
| VIN-2266 | REST malformed JSON response | Previously, when calling the REST API and submitting an invalid/malformed JSON, an immediate 400 error was received, while Subscribe continued to try to process the request. Now, the Subscribe Rest API has enhanced JSON validation capabilities to prevent malformed JSON and responds faster with a 400 level error. |
| VIN-2349 | PayPal AutoBill creation sending incorrect Push notifications | Previously, when a customer created a Subscription but had not yet completed the PayPal payment agreement, Vindicia Subscribe was sending a Subscription Started event notification. This has been fixed. Subscribe now sends an Subscription Created notification upon creating of a Subscription, and does not send a Subscription Started event notification until after the customer has completed the PayPal payment page. |
| VIN-5063 | Unable to institute tax exemption Id using Avalara | Previously, a merchant was not able to institute or update tax exemptions using Avalara when only the Name and Country were listed. This has been fixed. Now, if a region is not provided when attempting to add a new tax exemption to an Account, Subscribe attempts to use the district value from the billing address on the default payment method (the PaymentMethod object with the lowest `sortOrder` and `active=true`) of the Account for the region value. |
| VIN-5589 | Unable to use Payment Instrument Type Google Pay with REST GA 1.0 | An issue preventing the creation of GooglePay Payment Methods in the Rest API was fixed. |
| VIN-5658 | Unable to create PayPal subscription | A bug was preventing the customer from creating a PayPal subscription with a free trial billing plan. This has been fixed. |
