# Vindicia Internal Notes for Release 27.0.0

## VIN-3326 AvaTax Integration

Previously, three fields were allowed to be left blank when sending them to Avalara:

* Address1
* City
* CustomerName (Avalara names, not Vindicia).

Vindicia now substitutes "." for these fields if empty, preventing Avalara from rejecting an exemption. This applies only to US and CA exemptions. Non-US non-CA exemptions do not require these fields.

## VIN-2063 Create Billing Plans via REST not requiring an ID

A bug was allowing creation of Billing Plans with duplicate IDs. This has been fixed.

## VIN-2921 Additional Functionality for Pause/Resume

This ticket adds the ability to cancel a paused subscription. Most operations on paused subscriptions are prevented, as noted in VIN-1512 (below).

## VIN-1512 (REST/SOAP) Block Activities for paused subscription

The following activities are blocked for a customer with a suspended subscription:

* update
* modify
* activate
* add campaign
* add charge
* change billing day of month
* delay billing by days
* delay billing to date
