# Vindicia Subscribe - 2023.03 Release

## Announcements
### Vindicia Identity Provider (IDP) and Merchant User Management - Coming Soon
In the coming releases, Vindicia will launch its advanced Identity Provider experience for merchant user authentication to Vindicia's portals.
Vindicia's IDP will offer support for all PCI required security measures such as complex passwords, Multi-Factor authentication, and use of unique passwords. Merchant users will be responsible for creating their own passwords in a simple-to-use Identity Provider app.
Merchant administrators will be able to independently perform user management activities such as, disable and enable users, reset password, and reset multi-factor authentication factors. Merchant administrators will still need to open a ticket with CTS to add new users.
New merchants will start using Vindicia's IDP from March 1st, 2023. Migration process for existing merchants will start from April 2023, merchants will be contacted directly.
Merchants may select to use Vindicia's provided IDP for authentication or alternatively use any OIDC-based Identity Providers integrated with Vindicia for that purpose such as Okta and Microsoft Azure.
## Subscribe Features
### Subscribe Merchant Portal 2.0 Enhancements
**Export Search Results for Transaction List** - With this release, merchants can download a full or partial Transaction search results list of up to 10,000 Transactions. The list is downloadable as a csv file and can be viewed in a program such as Notepad or Excel.

### Stackable Discounts - Single REST API Version Support
With stackable discounts, merchants can allow redemption of multiple discounts (campaign codes) simultaneously as part of a subscription using Subscribe's Promotion and/or Coupon Campaigns.
In this release, we have merged our REST API V2 and V1 version into a single primary version that offers support for single discounting as well as stackable discounting.

## Dashboard Features
### Subscribe Intelligence Dashboard – Subscription by Product Graphs
With this release, the Subscribe Intelligence Dashboard introduces new graphs that allows you to view the number of active subscriptions per product and the number of new subscriptions and cancellations added each month. The **Active Subscriptions by Product** graph has been added to the **Subscriber Insights** dashboard and the **Subscription Acquisition vs Churn by Product** graph has been added to the **Retention Insights** dashboard.
## Payment Features
This release includes the following new Payment features:
### Windcave Integration - Support for Hosted Pages Payment Method
In the Subscribe 2023.01 Release, Vindicia provided an integration with Windcave payment provider.
In this release, Vindicia enhanced the Windcave integration to also support Windcave's Hosted Payment page. The Hosted Payments page is where the purchase transaction can be completed securely on Windave's secure payment network. In this release, Hosted Payment page supports credit card usage.

### Stripe Integration - Stripe Payment Intent 3DS Support
Starting from this release, Vindicia will support 3D Secure Authentication for Stripe's Payment Intent API integration offering support for European-based merchants.

### Chase Paymentech Integration - Card-on-File (CIT/MIT) support for Apple Pay
From this release, Vindicia supports stored credentials for Apple Pay payment method with Chase Paymentech. The functionality is available for Vindicia Subscribe.

| PORT-2687 | Subscribe Merchant Portal 2.0 - Complete Details of the Subscription Items were Not Displayed | The **Description** of **Subscription Items** were truncated and were not fully displayed on the **Subscription Details** page. This issue has been fixed. Now, the **Description** of **Subscription Items** is fully displayed on the **Subscription Details** page. |
| VIN-17767 | Add Customer Billing Address When Creating a New Charge with Stripe Payment Processor | Previously, the customer billing address was not included in the card object when creating a new charge. Now, the following fields are included in the card object: 'card\[address\_city]' 'card\[address\_country]' 'card\[address\_line1]' 'card\[address\_line2]' 'card\[address\_zip]' 'card\[address\_state]' 'card\[name]'. |
| VIN-19946 | Retain API - Changes in the Retain Refund API to Handle Errors | The Retain refundTransactions SOAP API did not return the `TransactionValidationResponse` response object for each failed transaction. Now, the `TransactionValidationResponse` response object is received for each failed transaction. |
| VIN-20353 | Subscribe Merchant Portal 2.0 - Product Description on Account Page not Displayed for Inactive Subscriptions | The **Product** **Description** was not displayed on the **Account** page for cancelled subscriptions. This issue has been fixed. |
| VIN-22214 | Subscribe Reports - Earned Value Not Calculated Correctly in Current Liability Report | When credits were rolled over, the Earned Value in the Current Liability Report was sometimes calculated incorrectly. This issue has been fixed. |
#### Known Issues
This release has the following known issues.
* In Subscribe Merchant Portal 2.0, when applying a discount to an existing Subscription, the campaign code field per Subscription Item displays an error.
As a workaround, use the subscription level Campaign Code field instead to apply the discount. All applicable Products and Billing Plans in the Subscription will be discounted.
