# Vindicia Internal Notes for Subscribe 2023.02 Release

Production Release Date: March 1, 2023

**Parent topic:**[Vindicia Subscribe - 2023.02 Release](2023.02_tp_subscribeReleaseNotes)

## Subscribe and Retain Features

### Vindicia IDP - User Creation for users added in Subscribe/Retain Portal

With this release, adding a user for a Vindicia IDP merchant is required only once in the Subscribe/ Retain Portal 1 user management screen. When a user is created in Subscribe/Retain for a merchant configured on Vindicia IDP (ulm), It is also automatically created via a backend API in the new Vindicia IDP. In order for this to happen, the M2M details required for the backend API must be configured in the IDP configuration screen in Portal 1. For more details, see [the internal Subscribe Configuration Guide](https://vindicia-ext-staging.zoominsoftware.io/bundle/subscribeMerchantConfiguration/page/topics/subscribeRetainUserAuthentication.html).

This API eliminates the manual user creation process and makes the internal admins managing users job more efficient.

Automatic deletion of users will be added in a subsequent release.

## Internal Fixes

The following issues were solved in this release:

| Ticket | Description |
| - | - |
| PORT-2564 | Previously, users needed to refresh the page when switching Retain Merchants in the merchant selection dropdown list in the Merchant Portal 2.0. Now the /tableau end-point is called for the selected retain merchant and there is no need to refresh the page. |
| PORT-2674 | The Retain Portal menu bar obscured the Retain Dashboard tabs. This issue has been fixed. |
| VIN-19739 | Internal users created though Subscribe Merchant Portal 2.0 were not associated with the Vindicia Merchant. This issue has been fixed. |
| VIN-20451 | There were auth response codes that did not have descriptions and were not mapped for Litle. This issue has been fixed. |
