## Subscribe Features

This release includes the following new Subscribe features:

### Transaction Information Enhanced With Authorization Code Type Definition

From this release, Subscribe provides the authorization code type (hard or soft failure) based on either the payment provider definition or the merchant override for an authorization code. Hard failure transactions (rejected by the payment provider) are considered unrecoverable using the subscriber's current on-file method of payment and will not be retried by Subscribe. Soft failure transactions (declined by the payment provider) have failed but could possibly be approved on a subsequent authorization request and can be retried by Subscribe. The code type is included in the Transaction status log object

The feature is part of Subscribe [REST API,](https://docs.vindicia.com/bundle/Subscribe_REST_API_Guide/page/topics/Transaction_Status.html) [SOAP subversion 27.1](https://docs.vindicia.com/bundle/SOAPAPIGuide/page/topics/TransactionStatus_Subobj.html) and Push notification messages for all payment method types.
