## Subscribe Features

This release includes the following new Subscribe features:

### Subscribe Merchant Portal 2.0 Enablement

Subscribe Portal 2.0 has been enhanced in the last few months to bring it to parity with portal 1.0 and improve its performance.

In this release, the following feature support was added:

* Date range search limit for Subscriptions, Transactions, and Accounts page - When filtering by the date range key field only, the search is limited to 90 days. When using multiple filtering input (regardless if using additional key fields or not), the date range is unlimited.(PORT-2014)
* Immediate Subscription cancel support has been added so that Subscriptions in a Pending Cancel state can be canceled and disentitled immediately when needed. This feature provides parity with Subscribe Portal 1.0 (PORT-1979)
* Portal 2.0 Frequently asked questions has been added to the Subscribe Portal 2.0 Online Help and [User Guide](https://docs.vindicia.com/bundle/Subscribe_Portal2_User_Guide/page/Topics/FAQ.html) (DOCS-314)
* A[Subscribe Portal 2.0 Tutorial](https://vimeo.com/677757923) has been created to help with merchant migration.

### AvaTax Support - Date and Tax Rate Alignment Enhancement

Subscribe previously sent only the original transaction date to AvaTax for retries, refunds and catch-up billings. This provided the proper tax calculations based on the tax rates in effect on the original transaction date but introduced a discontinuity for the tax transaction date in AvaTax. This only impacts Merchants who have their own contract with Avalara to use AvaTax reports for tax reporting or remittance. Merchants using the Vindicia-provided AvaTax instance are unaffected.

In this release, the enhancement uses the original Subscribe Transaction date to trigger the tax rate override causing the use of the correct tax rates from the original billing date for retries, refunds, and catch-up billings but uses the current date to set the AvaTax transaction date causing the tax transaction to appear in the proper period in AvaTax portal and reports.
