# Vindicia Subscribe - 2021.11 Release Notes

## Announcements

This release includes the following announcements:

### Subscribe Merchant Portal 2.0 Default Portal

As announced in previous releases, Vindicia is making Subscribe Merchant Portal 2.0, the default Portal. As part of September's release, Vindicia released performance improvements. We listened to our merchants and accordingly Subscribe Portal 1.0 decommission is delayed until February 2022 while outstanding parity and performance issues are resolved.

Subscribe Portal 2.0 Advantages:

* Allows localization to your regional time zone and language
* Improved user interface
* Clear representation of Transactions per subscription
* More specific Transactions search options (per Payment Method, per ID, per amount)
* Reports will be created/scheduled using the new Subscribe Data Platform (Reports 2.0), where applicable

Subscribe Merchant Portal 2.0 has become the default web Portal. We encourage you to start using Subscribe Merchant Portal 2.0. ## Subscribe Features

This release includes the following new Subscribe features:

### Subscribe Merchant Portal 2.0 Reporting Enhancements

The following enhancements are included in this release:

* **Transaction Detail Report** and **Transaction Refund Detail Report** include a **Daily** frequency option when scheduling a report. (VIN-12858)
* Reports 2.0 reports display the **UTC** Time Zone as an option. (VIN-13125)
* **Merchant Users** Report is available in Subscribe Merchant Portal 2.0 and is in parity with Subscribe Portal 1.0. (VIN-13450)

### External User Authentication Enhancement

In previous releases, we provided support for external user authentication via IDPs such as Okta to access Subscribe Portals. In this release, usability enhancements were made for the feature, including:

* email address compatibility between the Subscribe user and IDP's user are **case insensitive**
* Users authenticated via an IDP do not receive credential emails or prompts from Subscribe

## Payment Features

This release includes the following new Payment features:

### Worldpay 3DS Enhancement

In this release, a new Worldpay 3DS (PSD2) authentication option has been added. This option allows customers to choose whether to use 3DS verification through **Cardinal Commerce** or through **Worldpay**.

### Paysafe Card on File and 3DS Support

From this release, the following Paysafe features are supported:​

* ​Paysafe Card-On-File support (VIN-10304)​
* ​Paysafe 3DS (PSD2) support (VIN-1174)

**Note:** Existing merchants that want to utilize these feature, please contact Vindicia Client Technical Support to transfer to the new Payment Service solution.

| VIN-618 | REST API reverse a payment using MAP fails | REST API reverse a payment call made using /payments endpoint for Merchant Accepted Payment (MAP) was throwing an Internal Server Error. This has been fixed. |
| VIN-12533 | Abandoned Paypal purchases left in Pending Activation status | If a hosted page PayPal transaction was abandoned, the subscription was left in `Pending Activation`. This has been fixed and the subscription is now cancelled |
| VIN-12666 | Vindicia **C# .NET 27.0 Client Library** updated to UTC timing | In order to compatibly work with the platform, the Vindicia C#.Net 27.0 library was updated to UTC time zone. |
| VIN-13166 | REST API - MAP Get Transaction call missing status | Get Transaction call was not returning the status for a MAP (Merchant Accepted Payment) transaction. This has been resolved. |
| VIN-13221 | Reports cannot be downloaded through Subscribe Portal 2.0 | An issue with report downloading parameters definition was identified. Issue has been resolved. |
| VIN-13380 | Global Collect 3DS Transactions failing | Payment methods validation Transactions processed with GlobalCollect that required 3DS authentication, were failing, This has been fixed |
| VIN-13403 | Push 2.0-**Entitlement Start** push notification sent when customer asked for cancellation at the end of the billing period | For customers using Push 2.0, the system was issuing a stop & start entitlement when a request for a cancellation at the end of the billing period was issued. This has been resolved. |

### Known Issues

This release includes the following known issues in this release:

* **Current Liability** Report not available in Reports 2.0. As a temporary workaround, issue the report from Subscribe Portal 1.0 and use the Reports 1.0 engine.
