## Subscribe Features

This release includes the following new Subscribe features:

### Stackable Discounts

Starting this release, Subscribe supports **stackable discounts** whereby merchants can allow redemption of multiple discounts (campaign codes) simultaneously as part of a subscription using Subscribe's Promotion and/or Coupon Campaigns.

For Example, a customer can apply both a \$10 new customer promotion coupon and a 5% promotional student discount to a new subscription.

The feature provides flexibility to configure the discount application rules as needed. You can define the order in which the discounts are applied (fixed discount versus percentage), and for percentage discounts the amounts they are applied to (original amount or already discounted ones).

A new Subscribe REST API version (20210401) is being introduced to support these changes and merchants will be required to use this new version for the stackable discounts functionality.

This feature is available for new merchants ONLY in September's release. A migration path, for existing merchants who are currently using campaign discounts, will be available in future releases.

### Subscribe Support for OKTA IDP External User Authentication

From this release, Subscribe offers support for external user authentication via OKTA Identity Provider. Once configured, existing Subscribe users that use a matching email address in OKTA, can use their OKTA Single Sign On credentials to access Subscribe Portal. This feature uses Authorization Code as the grant type supported.

**Note:** The feature provides authentication Single Sign On capabilities through OKTA. User Authorization for specific roles and permissions is still governed in the Subscribe environment.

The following two search improvements were made in the Subscribe Merchant Portal 2.0:

* High data volume searches were previously timing out. Improvements have been made for Accounts, Subscriptions, and Transactions elements when searching by an identifier such as AccountId, SubscriptionId, and TransactionId for faster lookup functionality.
