# Tax Exemption

A certificate or other recorded tax exemption on file for a customer (account) or specific subscription or transaction.

## Attributes

| Name | Type | Description |
| - | - | - |
| object | string | Value is “TaxExemption” |
| region | string | Geography or jurisdiction the exemption applies to. |
| exemption\_id | string | Exemption ID or certificate number filed with tax authority. E.g., a VAT ID, or a US Tax ID. |
| active | boolean | If true, this exemption is active. |
