# Mandate

The mandates object represents the end-custom approval for a one-time or recurring billing using their provided bank account details. A common requirement for UK and SEPA direct debit payment methods.

**Attributes**

| Name | Type | Description |
| - | - | - |
| object | string | Value is “Mandate” |
| created | datetime | The date/time at which the mandate was recorded into Subscribe. |
| identifier | string | Externally provided unique identifier for the Mandate (agreement). |
| status | enum | Current Mandate status. Values can be `Active`, `Cancelled`, `Expired`, `Failed`, `Pending` |
