# Create a Pending Charge

## V2

This topic shows information relevant specifically for Subscribe REST API version 20210401 referred to as V2

Creates a new non-recurring pending charge on a given Subscription or Invoice.

**Note:**

Do not change the established currency type.

## HTTP Request

`POST https://api.vindicia.com/charges`

## Route (URL) Parameters

None.

## Query Parameters

| dryrun | false | Boolean flag that, if set to **true**, will return the updated [Subscription](Subscriptions), without recording the result in the Subscribe database. | No |
| campaign\_code | n/a | Optional Coupon or Promotion Code, used to obtain a discount on this charge. | No |

## Accepts

JSON - A full [Charge](Charges) object.

**Note:** A discount Ticket array can be included in the Charge object.

JSON - A full [Charge](Charges) object.
