# Activate a Coupon Code

Activate a specific Coupon Code. This is an additional security step that allows to activate the coupon codes after they were generated.

**Note:**

* Coupon codes require activation when the `coupon_code_requires_activation` attribute was enabled.
* The activate call also validates a coupon code at the same time to ensure that the coupon is valid.

## HTTP Request

`POST /campaign_codes/:campaign_code/actions/activate`
